Afterpay is an alternative method of payment available through our store. Afterpay enables you to pay for your items in four simple instalments every 2 weeks without the hassle of credit checks or filling out forms. You receive your order immediately and you don’t have to pay interest.

It is a great way to get your items fast and to have the option of paying for it over a long period of time for when it better suits you. Essentially, you can purchase an item today and pay for it later.

How do I purchase with Afterpay?

Afterpay is fully integrated with the Proper checkout so all you need to do is select this as your payment option when you are ready to purchase.

To make a purchase using Afterpay you need:

A valid debit or credit card
An Australian residential address
To be over 18 years old

Step 1: Select Afterpay as your payment option on the checkout page

The first time you use Afterpay, you will have to provide the usual payment details to complete your purchase. Next time, you will only need to log into your account at the checkout and the rest will be taken care of.

Step 2: Choose how you want to pay your instalments

Afterpay will split your payments over four instalments due every fortnight. You will need to nominate the credit or debit card you wish to use. Your payments will be scheduled and taken automatically every two weeks using this payment method.

Step 3: get approved instantly and securely

There are no credit checks or long forms to fill out. Afterpay only uses your nominated bank account to process your application on the spot.

Step 4: Step 4: Enjoy your purchase!

After you check out with Afterpay, we will process your order and send your items for you to enjoy. Afterpay will remind you when payments are due and will process your payments automatically.

Important Information

The funds for the first payment must be available on your chosen card at the time of purchase. For first time users, the first payment is taken at the time of the transaction, with the remaining three payments taken each fortnight over the next 6 weeks.

For all future orders with Afterpay after the first purchase, the initial payment will be debited from your account 14 days after the transaction.

If have insufficient funds available for the automatic fortnightly deductions on the due dates you will be charged a late fee of $10 and if the payment remains overdue, an additional $7 late fee will be charged 1 week later.

Please note that if your Proper purchase is the first time you have used Afterpay, you will need to make the first repayment when you place your order. Maximum order value is $1000.
